What this website counts

We want to know how many people visit, what they read and what they download, so we can improve the site and the product. We do it without cookies and without profiling you.

What is counted

• A page view: the page address, the language, the site you came from (its domain only) and a coarse screen class: phone, tablet or desktop.
• A download: which file was requested.
• A view of a recording (the first time it plays) and a press on the main buttons.

What is not

• No cookies, no local identifiers and no fingerprinting.
• Your IP address and browser identity are not stored. To count unique visitors per day, a short-lived one-way hash is used, and it cannot be reversed or linked from one day to the next.
• Nothing is sent to third parties. Counting runs on our own server, through this site’s own address.
• If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, nothing is counted at all.

The Corexar app

The app has no telemetry. It contacts our license server only to check a license key, and only if you entered one.
