Does Corexar send anything about me?
The app has no telemetry. It contacts our server only to check a license key, and only if you entered one. Without a key it makes no calls at all. This website counts visits, in a way described on the privacy page.
Is there a version for Windows?
Not yet. On Windows run the Server edition with Docker Desktop. Home is built for macOS on Apple Silicon and for Linux (x86-64 and ARM). Intel Macs are not supported.
Is the encryption end-to-end?
No. Encrypted collections keep titles and values as ciphertext in storage, under a key protected by the collection password. The server handles the key while a collection is unlocked, so it defends against a stolen database, backup or disk, not against whoever controls the running server.
What does the alpha mean for me?
Things change and rough edges remain. Keep backups. Licenses are not for sale yet; Pro and Enterprise keys are issued free to testers who tell us how it goes.
How do I update?
Server: docker compose pull && docker compose up -d. Home: download the new archive and replace the app; your data folder is untouched.
Can I move from Home to Server later?
Both use the same data model, but there is no one-click import yet. You can export entries to CSV or JSON and load them into Server through the API. Tell us if you need this: it shapes what we build next.
Who can see my collection?
Only people you invited to the workspace, within the rights of their role. A collection you mark as a public registry can be browsed read-only by other users of the same installation.
