Calendar View & iCal Subscriptions
Month/week/day views, recurring events, color coding, and external calendar synchronization.
The Calendar block plots entries with date characteristics onto an interactive grid, making it easy to schedule releases, milestones, deadlines, and publishing plans.
Calendar View Modes
Switch between timeline resolutions depending on planning horizon:
- Month — traditional grid for long-range planning and deadline distribution.
- Week — detailed daily and hourly breakdown for the current sprint or week.
- Day — focused itinerary for a specific date.
- Agenda List — chronological stream of upcoming events without dead space.
Recurring Events (RRULE)
Corexar natively implements RFC 5545 recurrence rules: schedule events repeating daily, weekly on chosen days, monthly, or yearly, with intervals and count or end-date boundaries.
Live External iCal Feed Subscriptions
Subscribe to Corexar calendar feeds from external apps (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook) via tokenized webcal URLs:
- Click the "Export iCal" button in the calendar block header.
- Copy the secure private webcal URL.
- Add the URL as a new calendar subscription in your client. Schedule changes in Corexar automatically synchronize in the background.
Tip. Click any date cell in the calendar to immediately draft a new entry pre-filled with that date.
