Shared and personal fields

One value for everyone, or each person’s own: ratings, progress and notes on a shared entry.

A field has a scope. A shared field holds one value that everybody sees: the studio, the year, the inventory number. A personal field holds a separate value for each person, visible only to its owner: “My rating”, “My notes”, “Episode I am on”.

Personal fields appear in the entry form in their own part, and on the entry page under “yours”.
The button My tracking on an entry page opens just your personal values, so you can update them without permission to edit the entry at all.
On a card, a personal value is edited in place like any other, and is saved as yours.
Filters and sorting by a personal field use your own values.

Note. This is what makes a shared library work for a family or a team: the entries are common, the opinions are not. In public registries, personal fields are never part of what is published.
