Block appearance

Every block has an Appearance section: background, text colour, border colour, padding, corner rounding, text alignment and a shadow. Colours are set separately for the dark and the light theme, so the page looks right in both; a block with nothing set follows the theme. “Stretch to content, no scrollbar” makes a block as tall as its content and pushes what is below it down, instead of a fixed box with its own scrollbar.

How a field is displayed

A Field block has “Display as”: Default (a pill with the value), Badge (a coloured label), Progress bar (a number against a maximum you set), Stars (a rating) or +/− buttons (a number you step by hand).

The pill look

For the pill, the badge and the +/− display, open “Pill look”: the shape (pill, rounded, square or plain text), the fill (tinted, solid or outline), the size and a colour. For a choice field you can give each option its own colour: watching green, planned blue, dropped red.

Edit on the page

Tick “Editable right on the page” on a text-like Field block, and people who may edit that field get a pencil to change it without opening the form. That right comes from the edit permission or from a per-field grant (see Access rules and field-level rights).
