Plotting entries on OpenStreetMap/Leaflet canvases, location characteristics, and color-coded map pins.
The Map block renders geo-tagged collection items on an interactive world map with panning, zooming, and direct entry previews.
Location Characteristics
The Location field type stores latitude and longitude coordinates alongside human-readable addresses.
Map Pins & Popups
Map markers dynamically reflect category colors. Clicking a pin opens a summary popup with thumbnail preview and a link to full item details.
Tip. The map automatically computes bounding boxes (Auto-fit) so all pins are framed cleanly when the page loads.
