Blocks of an entry page
What each block shows and what you can set on it.
Structure
| Block | What it does |
|---|---|
| Title, Cover | The entry’s title (with a padlock if protected) and its cover picture. |
| Field | Any field of the schema, in a display you choose (see Style, field displays and pills). Optionally editable right on the page. |
| Rich text | Your own text with headings, lists, links and pictures. Insert a field value with “Insert field value”, and let people with the right edit a text field from a pencil on the block. |
| Accordion, Tabs | Fold a long page into panels or tabs, each holding rich text. |
| Related items | The entries linked to this one, with an optional limit. |
| Parts | Chapters, episodes or volumes with a reader (see Chapters, episodes and volumes). |
| Button/link, Divider | A button that opens an address, and a dividing line. |
| Section | A group of blocks with its own columns. |
Media blocks
Media blocks read the entry’s own files. For each you choose the source: From gallery (the Nth file of that kind, or all matching files), From tag / role (files marked with a tag such as “poster”), or, for a single file, From item field.
| Block | What it shows |

| Image, Image grid, Image strip | One picture (fit or fill), a grid with a number of columns, or a scrolling strip, horizontal or vertical. A click opens the picture large. |
| Slideshow | The pictures one after another, by hand or automatically every N seconds. |
| Video, Video gallery | One video, or a gallery of videos, in a player of the style you choose. |
| Audio, Playlist | One track, or a playlist that plays them in turn. |
| Document, Document set | A file name that opens a preview, or the PDF itself shown on the page; a set as a list or a grid of cards with the first page of each PDF. |
